Junior pupils will be performing their version of The Grimm Tales in the drama studio tonight and tomorrow.
These tales are hardly sweet or soothing but they certainly grab the imagination! Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm wrote them to preserve Germanic folktales and since they first put pen to paper in the early 1800s, the tales have been gradually edited to make them softer and more polished. This has not, however, detracted from the heart of the stories.
We look forward to two interesting and entertaining evenings of story telling all by the pupils of the Lower School.
