On Monday 2 December senior members of the Royal Hospital School Chapel Choir led the Admiralty Carol Service at St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square.

Music included excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, which the choir will be performing in full this weekend, and carols by June Nixon, Christopher Steel and Richard Terry. The choir was conducted by our Director of Music, William Saunders, and was expertly accompanied on the organ by the Crompton Organ Scholar, Oliver Morris.

The Second Sea Lord, Vice Admiral David Steel, praised the choir by saying ‘the Admiralty Service would not be the same without the presence of the Royal Hospital School Choir’.
