The summer holidays ended early for the senior boys’ rugby team and senior girls’ hockey team as they returned to RHS for pre-season training.
The 22 boys underwent a full programme of skill, fitness and team building. They were also treated to an inspirational coaching session from an ex-Harlequins coach and a briefing on new laws from an RFU referee trainer. They also plays two competitive training matches against local clubs scoring over 70 points and conceding only 7. Proving that preparations for the season have gone well and we wish captain Dan Smith and his squad good luck.
The senior girls enjoyed a comprehensive programme of training which will stand them in good stead for the forthcoming season and a big thank you must go to Miss Anderson, Mrs Nutton and Mr Battman for their superb organisation and preparation.
