£150, collected from Sunday Evening Chapel during Christian Aid Week in May, has been donated to the charity to help towards one of this years projects to provide support for farmers in Zimbabwe.

This project aims to provide clean and reliable water in the South of Zimbabwe. Not only is this essential as safe drinking water but also for the successful growing of crops. So far, the Christian Aid partner, Dabane Trust, has worked closely with the local community to build a sand dam, which has transformed their harvests and along side this the Dabane Trust are working closely with the local people to teach sustainable farming techniques allowing families and farmers to produce a range of crops to meet their needs and have a surplus that can be sold on.
