On the weekend of the 25 and 26 May, Freddie Chiddicks successfully defended his title at the NSSA (National Schools Sailing Association) Laser Radial Inland Championship 2013.
Having won the title in 2012, Freddie was primed and ready to hold on to it for a second year. Tackling some tricky weather conditions with light shifty winds at Datchet Sailing Club, he managed to keep focused and sail to a victory of one point to win the ‘Carnac Trophy’. He has joined the ranks of Laser World and Olympic Champion, Paul Goodison, who won the trophy three times.
Following this excellent result, Freddie is now preparing for Sail for Gold at Weymouth along with the European Championships in Croatia.
