Our Girls’ Cross Country Team captain Claire Cuddihy has been selected to represent Suffolk at the English Schools’ Championships in Derby in March.
Master i/c of Cross Country, Martin Warren, said, “Any runner would be delighted to be selected for the Championships once but Claire has competed in four championship races in four consecutive years. This marks her as one of our most successful girl runners ever and is just reward for all her hard work in training and racing.”
Another RHS pupil, Gwen Ludlow, is also the first reserve for the Suffolk team. Mr Warren adds “Gwen has had a fine first season in the Suffolk selection trials and will be hoping for an opportunity to prove what she can do at the highest level.”
